HOC is going virtual!
Like many other organizations and events, we have been monitoring the ongoing impact of COVID-19. To ensure the well-being of our community and to hold an event that can be safely enjoyed by all, Hoosiers Outrun Cancer will be a virtual race this year. While the 21st running will be different, we are grateful for the opportunity to share this meaningful event with even more Hoosiers across our state.
Learn more from BHF President and CEO Jon Barada and HOC Committee Chair Shawn Williams here.
Registration is open! Click the registration button to reserve your HOC shirt and be sure to join us on September 26th as we host a virtual program –here, one our website, and on our HOC Facebook page– that will include all of the HOC traditions you’ve come to love.
More details are forthcoming– make sure you check back here and follow us on our social media channels so you can stay updated on all-things HOC.
Join us for the 21st anniversary running of Bloomington Health Foundation’s Hoosiers Outrun Cancer 5K. One of the oldest and largest 5K events in Indiana!
Hoosiers Outrun Cancer (HOC) proudly supports members of our local community who are fighting cancer including patients, their family, and their friends. The Bloomington Health Foundation HOC Cancer Support Fund assists – at no charge – those in our community with needs beyond clinical care: massage therapy, art therapy, patient and family support groups, transportation assistance, and more. Over the last 20 years, HOC has raised nearly $4 million to maintain these necessary resources right here in South Central Indiana. Thank you to our community partners and sponsors for their generosity and continued commitment to our cause!
Join us virtually on September 26th to run in memory of a loved one, walk in honor of someone battling cancer, or simply gather a fun team for a fantastic cause!
