Why volunteer?

Volunteers are the heart of Hoosiers Outrun Cancer, helping us bring together our community to support those impacted by cancer. Your time and energy make a real difference, from cheering on runners to ensuring our event runs smoothly.

Get involved

Hoosiers Outrun Cancer volunteers assist with tasks such as:

• Packet Pick Up
• Staffing Water Stations
• Passing Out Medals
• Parking Coordination
• Photography/Videography
100% of the proceeds raised from Hoosiers Outrun Cancer provide free cancer support services to anyone impacted by cancer (patients, survivors, families, caregivers, and friends). These supports include counseling, health and wellness classes, therapy, social activities and events, direct financial assistance, and so much more.
Funds raised from past Hoosiers Outrun Cancer events made it possible to open a new cancer community center in Bloomington, Indiana located at 1719 W 3rd Street, so that no one faces cancer alone in our community!
