Team Packet Pickup

  • Wednesday, Oct. 2nd 11am – 6pm: team packet pickup at Cancer Support Community (1719 W 3rd Street, Bloomington, IN 47404) You must submit a request to pick up your team packet during this time at https://forms.office.com/r/kBp4CKrFVD. The deadline to make a request for team packet pickup is September 27, 2024.

Individual Packet Pickup Options

  • Friday, October 4 11am – 6pm: packet pickup & late registration open on the south side of Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall (1001 E 17th Street, Bloomington, IN)
  • Saturday, October 5 7:30am – 9am: packet pickup & late registration open on the north side of Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall (1001 E 17th Street, Bloomington, IN)

If you registered and are not able to attend the race, you will be able to pick up your race packet after the event.

Event Day Schedule

7:30 a.m. – Late registration & packet pickup open on the north side of Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall (1001 E 17th Street, Bloomington, IN)
9:00 a.m. – Cancer Survivors Gather at the Start/Finish Line
9:15 a.m. – Opening ceremony begins on stage
10:00 a.m. – 1 Mile Run/Walk begins
10:40 a.m. – 5K Run/Walk begins
11:25 a.m. – Awards ceremony begins

Parking & Street Closures

  • We will be using Orange and purple lots this year through gate 11 for general attendees. Accessible parking is also available through Gate 11 - let the parking attendant know its needed when you enter. Gate 12 will be restricted use for people setting up for team tailgates and sponsors row.
  • Access to the following roads will be limited on race day: Fee Lane from David Baker Ave to Law Lane and 17th Street from Indiana Ave to David Baker Ave

Health & Safety Notices

  • We are committed to the health and safety of all Hoosiers Outrun Cancer participants and volunteers. We continue to follow the Monroe County Health Department and Indiana University COVID policies and implement safety measures related to COVID-19. If you are not feeling well, please stay home.
  • Participants will not be allowed to participate in Hoosiers Outrun Cancer with animals, bicycles, roller skates, or inline skates. Participants are allowed strollers and baby joggers, we just politely ask that for everyone’s safety, you stay in the rear of the group.
  • For the safety of all participants, pets are not permitted at Hoosiers Outrun Cancer.

Team Management

Add or Change Your Team
  • Go to your individual race page. This link was provided in an email following your registration OR you can search for your own page by name under "Top FunRaisers" tab on the Hoosiers Outrun Cancer registration site menu.   • Once you're on your individual race page, you'll want to make sure you are signed into Run Sign Up. If you are signed in, you'll see "Manage" just to the right of your page name.  
  • Click "Manage", a drop down menu will appear. Click Edit FunRaiser.  
  • Scroll to the bottom of the edit page, and you will see the HOC Team FunRaiser menu. There is a drop down list and search tool you may use to find the team you wish to join or click the toggle to the right to create a new team.   
Edit Your Registration Info
  • Go to Hoosiers Outrun Cancer Registration site:  https://runsignup.com/Race/IN/Bloomington/CSCHOC
  • Sign into Run Sign Up and click the icon that looks like a circle with a person in it.   
  • Then click the drop down menu item that says "Profile".  
  • Next scroll down and look under "Upcoming Events" to find your Hoosiers Outrun Cancer registrations. You may click "Manage" to the right any of your registrations (for yourself and family members you may have registered) to edit any detail you like, i.e. Shirt size, race type (5K, 1 Mile, or Spirit), etc.
